BOORAY (BOURRE) Card Game | Draw or Pass Players are allowed to examine their cards but have to keep them hidden from other players. Beginning from pgplaygaming the left of the dealer and proceeding clockwise, all the players have to announce if they want to pass or play. In case the player decides to play they have to also announce how many cards they want to discard. In case a player wants to pass, they will have to stack their cards in front of them and sit out for the hand. They will not be able to win the pot or add to it. If a player decides to play, they discard the announced amount of faced down cards. The dealer will hand you a replacement which will equal to the amount of discarded card from the rest of the deck. A player can either discard all the 5 cards or simply stand and discard none. In a large game, the dealer could run out of cards in the deck to replace the discarded cards with. In this case, the dealer will collect the discarded cards and shuffle them and use to deal. In case the flipped trump card comes out to be an ace, the dealer will have to play. This will put no risk on the dealer as the Ace is always the trump in any trick. If there comes a situation where all except for one player passes the player will automatically win all the 5 tricks. They collect the pot. This is applicable for the dealer too. Players are not allowed to play or pass or the number of cards you want to discard until they are allowed to. Otherwise, that player will get a penalty and forfeit their turn to deal.
